Jerry Clevenger, owner and operator of the insurance agency has been in the insurance industry since 1975 and has proved to provide knowledge, experience and a competitive edge with insurance carriers. He was born and raised in the Michiana area. After graduating from Plymouth High School in 1971, Jerry attended Hanover College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975.

In October 1995, SourceOne Insurance was formed in Warsaw through Clevenger. Over the years he has provided all lines of insurance, and still does, but now with a team of people to better serve his clients. In January 2004, Clevenger purchased Boggs & Nelson Agency in Mentone from the estate of Joe Boggs. Boggs & Nelson was formerly known as the Walburn Agency and was started in 1919.  Clevenger has kept the agency in Mentone and will continue to do so. The Boggs & Nelson Agency, which will now go by Clevenger Insurance Agency, will relocate its office at the Farmers State Bank: 102 E. Main St, Mentone, IN and will continue to be run by Roger Schori.

Currently there are three Clevenger family members in the agency, and they all specialize in different things. Joe Clevenger focuses on personal lines and commercial insurance, he has been working with his father since 2005. Gina Clevenger specializes in health and life insurance with an expertise in navigating the healthcare system.

Clevenger Insurance Agency is here to stay and gives back to the community through involvement in: The Optimist Club, Kosciusko Community Foundation, United Way, Salvation Army Committee, Elementary Reading Program, and two terms as a Winona Lake Town Councilman.
